Bridge built for the convenience and enjoyment of residents

23 July 2012 No Comment

One great benefit to living at Highland Woods for families with young children is that Bridge2Country Trails Elementary School is located right within the community. Children from all neighborhoods have a short commute to school, and in some cases are even able to walk.

When planning the community, CrowBridge1n Community Development wanted to make the convenience of kids walking to school available to even more residents. We were able to do so by building a bridge from the Waterford neighborhood right into the Country Trails Elementary backyard. The bridge goes over the beautiful natural water conservation area and wetlands that surround the neighborhood.

It also allows residents access to a tree island, which is home to a large and very old cottonwood tree. The island is in such a beautiful area with great views that many residents enjoy picnics and relaxing on the island.
